Certifications/ Patents: multiple industry certifications including AWS practitioner, CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), Security+, Pentest+I served in the military for 24 years before retiring in 2006. During the military service, I served in the Navy, Army and the Department of Defense. I was involved in Desert Shield, Desert Storm and, in and administrative role, operation enduring freedom. I started in 1983 as a mechanic and had held jobs as an infantry soldier, a machine gunner on an aircraft carrier, an anti-terrorist specialist, an armed response team leader, a computer programmer, an IT security expert and a Warrant Officer. I started the Valander Group in 2019. The Valander Group is a veteran-owned consortium of successful entrepreneurs and business people with vast networks of resources specifically in IT, Cloud Computing, Accounting, Business Consulting, Specialty Brokering and Government Procurement. Valander’s goal is to bring our considerable skill sets and decades of experience to the government and private sectors to provide services, products and problem-solving solutions.
