I am a strong academic professional with a Bachelors Degree in Human Relations and a Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, from The University of Oklahoma. I’m also a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC-C) under supervision.I am a self-published author of the title: Right Pieces, Wrong Puzzle: The Synergy of Passion & Purpose. This book focuses on helping students transitioning to college, those who are currently enrolled, or those who may be questioning what to do with their life. This book gives its readers a down-to-earth perspective of my life as a college student, while also helping them understand the concepts of passion and purpose. I believe this book will provide a necessary blueprint to help students navigate the ever-confusing and challenging territory that is college. Furthermore, I have been trained in leadership and professional development, as well as group facilitation as an Educational Consultant with Paradigm Shift Leadership. I also have demonstrated a successful history of working in higher education as a Resident/Community Adviser and Graduate Teaching Assistant. Additionally, I am familiar with work in the non-profit sector as a Youth Development Intern for the Boys & Girls Club of Norman. What is more, I’ve gained counseling experience as an intern for Family Development and Intervention Services.I am highly skilled in Counseling, Leadership, Public Speaking, Group Facilitation, Mentoring, Conflict Resolution, Youth Engagement, Interpersonal Communication, Writing, Editing, Advising, Program Development, and DEI. I am extremely passionate about working with students and adolescents, and I possess the ability to exemplify an authentic capacity for empathy.
