-Designed and developed an innovative new PCB drill which improved on Kyocera’s previous design in terms of strength and drilling accuracy by 20%. -Design prototypes of drills, end mills and routers to meet customer needs.-Create tests and perform them in a lab to compare prototypes of tools against competitors.-Perform analysis of test data and create reports to develop action plans with Research and Development Team.-Consulted on the purchase of a new CNC drill/router which allowed Kyocera to broaden range of products to be developed in the lab.-Conducts analysis and maintenance of existing technologies and assets available in Kyocera lab.-Work with Sales/Administration to roadmap upcoming developments in Kyocera products.-Assists customers with technical questions and provide solutions.-Create and update CAD models and tool drawings using SolidWorks.-Created tooling programs and machined plastics, resin used in PCB materials, aluminum, copper and different grades of steel during development tests.-Created purchase requisitions to order testing materials.

- Manufacturing & Design Engineer Intern for Laguna Tools a CNC company, using different CAD programs I have designed and built numerous prototypes for different companies interested in Laguna’s machines.- Personally machined materials varying from metals, acrylic, wood and foam using CNC and Laser cutters.- Prepared shop drawings of CNC’s sold by Laguna Tools.- Mastered use of and have knowledge of the capabilities of various CNC machines and laser cutters.- Working closely with the sales team and customers, I have personally prepared and presented numerous demos to demonstrate abilities of Laguna Tools CNC machines to increase sales.- I have designed, and have made CAD files and engineering drawings for CNC attachments for Laguna Tools.- Through out of state and local customer programing training, I have saved these companies a significant amount of money by optimizing material use and reducing labor hours.- I have taken responsibilities to manage my department of two other design engineers in order to most effectively create and demonstrate machine demos for customers.- Assisted in visual merchandising of Laser Cutters through promotional videos and advertisements.

-Member of a team of 25 students to design and construct a 1 – 2 scale pod to transverse a mile-long tube in a near vacuum. -Placed in top five out of 115 teams who submitted designs.-Student lead project, working together with five sub teams collaborated in order to meet deadlines required for the competition. -Responsible for designing the wiring diagram and selecting correct electrical components compatible with our pods subsystems. -Responsible for simulation of stresses during travel through tube using ANSYS.

-Member of team of about 30 students to design, build and fly a UAV programmed for the purposes of search and rescue missions. -Responsible for designing landing gear and propulsion system using composite materials.-Responsible for testing our landing gear during landing procedure using ANSYS.-Worked together with 4 sub-groups in order to meet the deadline for the senior design presentation at UC Irvine.
