I'm a Boston-based partner in Goodwin’s IP Litigation practice. My practice is primarily focused on pharmaceutical patent litigation for both biologic and small molecule drugs, with a specialty in working with expert and technical witnesses. Beyond litigation, my experience includes PTAB proceedings, patent prosecution, IP diligence, and FTO analysis. I also devote significant time to representing pro bono clients in criminal and immigration matters. Prior to joining Goodwin, I worked as a medicinal chemist at Merck Research Laboratories , where I designed and synthesized novel small molecule drug compounds to treat cancer, Alzheimer’s disease, asthma, inflammation, and schizophrenia. One of these compounds, MK-8351, was advanced to human trials for the treatment of asthma. I am a named inventor on eight U.S. Patents.I am currently admitted to practice in: Massachusetts, U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, U.S. Supreme Court.
