As a Senior Human Resources Analyst, I supervise a team running classification, recruitment, and selection processes for non-teaching positions for the Los Angeles County Office of Education's Personnel Commission. In my capacity as Senior Analyst, I oversee the development of selection testing materials (interviews, multiple choice, and performance tests), manage the work of several ongoing recruitments, and advise staff in conducting job classification studies to establish new positions or ensure workers are properly positioned and compensated for their work. Additionally, in this role at LACOE I oversee, maintain, and update our competency-based rating database application, which is used for nearly all selection processes in the Personnel Commission (PC). As a team lead, I will also be responsible for starting up and overseeing a wide range of initiatives to improve LACOE's recruitment processes including increasing candidate engagement,updating our website, and developing PC-related training programs for LACOE's staff.

This Access-based database application serves to streamline the rating and scoring process for interviews, performance tests, and evaluations of training and experience.
