-Occupational hygiene support for all business units on-site incuding upgrader, ore processing, mining, maintenance shops.-Hazards monitored, controlled and managed include: hydrocrabon, silica, noise, NORM, asbestos, heat stress, ergonomic-Familiarity providing occupational hygiene support in emergency situations including fires and production upsets

Primary function was completing industrial hygiene surveys on a contract basis. Hazards monitored included welding fume, silica and completion of noise mapping.Main objective was determining respirator effectiveness for welders in Heavy Duty Maintenance shops relating to manganese exposure.

Completed hygiene surveys for a consulting firm in numerous industries including manufacturing, dairy, concrete, grain, power as well as college campuses and K-12 schools.Gained proficiency in air monitoring for: metals, dust, asbestos, silica and chemicals.Developed effective report writing as well as familiarity with local OHS regulations and guidelines.Completed qualitative and quantitative APR fit testing for hundreds of employees.
