Working for a leading company in the logistics field has given me experience working in a large international fortune 500 company. Working with a great group of individuals who all bring knowledge and skills to the team allows for learning in a number of expertise while solving numerous security issues that arise in an acquisition company dealing with numerous business units all with their own policies, tools, and shortcomings. In my first year I lead the project to deploy the SIEM LogRhythm across two of our North American business units. I was responsible for managing the day to day maintenance, caring, and feeding of the SIEM as well as custom development of rules and actions leveraging our threat intelligence provider and other tools to make effective and automated responses to security threats.Moving into my second year I was promoted and took over lead on vulnerability management. I ensure that all of our infrastructure and apps are kept as secure as possible by detecting and reporting on vulnerabilities as they arise and work with multiple teams across business units to remediate security concerns. In my time with XPO I have focused on: -Vulnerability Management ~Lead vulnerability detection and remediation for infrastructure and applications ~Custom reporting and alerting for issues as they arise-SIEM (LogRhythm) ~Lead project implementation and deployment across multiple business units ~Development of custom rules utilizing multiple APIs to provide accurate and detailed alerting ~Troubleshooting of numerous issues and provided constant fine tuning to ensure optimal performance-Threat intelligence platform deployment and integration (Anomali)-Incident Response
