The UMN Prevention Research Center (PRC) is conducting a community-based project aiming to increase confidence in COVID-19 vaccines, and ultimately increase vaccination uptake among people who are incarcerated and correctional facility staff throughout Minnesota. This project began in May 2021 funded by a grant from the CDC, and the grant cycle is set to end in May 2022.Monitored, compiled, and summarized news and media resources.Attended weekly check-ins to discuss project logistics, progress, and any other updates.Attended and took notes at advisory board meetings and other project meetings.Facilitated interviews, town hall meetings, and focus groups.Assisted with writing up summaries of surveys and visualizing results.
