Qualified US Army Counterintelligence Special Agent (MOS 351L). Served as a civilian DoD contractor conducting Counterintelligence (CI) and security screening interviews of Afghan evacuees (Special Immigrant Visa applicants and refugees) fleeing Afghanistan in the wake of the Taliban takeover of the country in August 2021. Conducted verification of personal identity and performed background investigations of evacuees to identify potentially derogatory information causing security concerns. Conducted special technical collection activities to determine potential nefarious associations of evacuees. Coordinated with National Geospatial Intelligence Center (NGIC) biometrics specialists to assess evacuees' previous contact with US entities. Conducted analysis of relevant intelligence reporting to further assess potentially derogatory information relating to evacuees.
