• Collaborate with clients and Co-workers to provide professional engineering and design support in: research, planning, technical assistance, construction and installation of mechanical systems, troubleshooting machinery, guidance to production, Solidworks technical support, operational needs, engineering economics, advanced mechanical engineering principles and standards, fabrication, machine design, hydraulic systems, robotics, Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machining / programming, investigation and resolution of operational maintenance problems, recommend and generate predicative or preventive maintenance (PM) plans. • Advanced finite element analysis (FEA) to analyze the results of equipment failure including: stress, strain, vibration (frequency), cavitation, and hydrostatic.• Work closely with a Professional Engineer, to validate analysis of simulation results with written computations and reports.• Conducts field inspections to verify as-built drawings meet design conditions requirements for contract deliverables to ensure compliance with approved plans. • Conduct value engineering (VE) assessments, prepares proposals and agenda reports, estimates of time, materials and equipment cost for considerations of new product development and/or construction projects. • Provides engineering support to local trade shops and vendors in diagnosis and resolution of solidworks, CNC machines and other mechanical equipment malfunctions and failures.
