Hello,I'm Eric Barrera, an accounting student at Utah State University Jon M Huntsman School of Business. I have learned to be a flexible and problem-solving student. I also work as a director designee and accounting associate at Happy Zone Child Care Center in West Jordan, Utah. I started the role of Director Designee in April of 2022. It is where I learned to lead a group of over 15 employees. The employees are mostly Spanish-speaking; therefore, I use my Native Spanish a lot. As a director designee, some problems can arise, so I developed problem-solving skills to resolve them. This role was in addition to my other role as an Accounting associate, where I have been since May 2019. I do a lot of general ledger activity, so I have developed my skills as a financial analyst.
