My strengths are in camera operation, lighting, editing, and studio-style production. Most of my experience has been in documentary commercials and TV-style production. My career started at a studio at Harvard University called the "Rita E Gustave Hauser" studio for digital learning and development. I primarily was a studio technician operating cameras, adjusting lighting and blocking, occasional audio board mixing, and some live switching. Primarily what we shot and produced was a combination of inward and outward-facing content either developed for students or greater online modules such as HarvardX.After Harvard, I spent some time freelancing mostly in commercial set production for some companies like BC Media, Ignition Visuals, Hardpin Media, and Wayfair. I started out as a production assistant and worked my way into other roles such as lighting and gaffing and camera operation.I would eventually be hired by Wayfair to be a set builder and production assistant for video and catalog photo shots with occasional logistical support in their photo studio. Then I took on a new role with a production team for PDP video (Product Description Page) as a videographer shooting and directing short videos for the company website. Much of what I was relied on was my knowledge and experience in the technical side of video production be it the lighting scheme or equipment management. Currently, I am a Studio Technician/Stage Manager for NESN(New England Sports Network) for their "Boston Globe Today" show, a show highlighting local stories and news with interviews with reporters giving insight into stories happening nationally and in New England. I act as a technical hand in the studio to help facilitate the production of the show and act as a communication point from the production control room.
