• Design of multi-layer rigid and flexible printed wiring boards up to 28-layers.• Designs utilizing through-hole and surface-mount components, including .25mm lead pitch devices, BGA and micro-BGA with ball count up to 1156 and ball pitch as low as .7mm.• Design experience includes the use of blind, buried and HDI micro-via.• Create Designs using hi-speed data, controlled impedance and differential pair technology transmission lines.• Circuit types include Analog and Digital signaling, Voltage regulation and conditioning, and RF.• Mechanical hardware design including test fixtures, Hi-G environment mechanical structures and machined housings using 3-D solid model CAE tools.• Creation of manufacturing data and formal documentation for military customers.• Maintaining computer hardware and software for the Electrical, Mechanical and Design/Drafting Engineering Departments.

• Responsible for maintaining the EDA tools hardware and software used by the engineering group.

• Maintaining and installing Unix and Microsoft Windows based computers.• Researching and recommending EDA tools for Engineering Departments• Installing and updating EDA tools for Engineering Departments

• Design of bi-layer and multi-layer printed circuit boards.• Designs include surface mount and thru-hole components placed on top and bottom board layers.

• CAD drafting tasks of mechanical and electrical drawings through multi-layer circuit board input, digitizing and checking using ComputerVision CADDS 3 and CADDS 4X systems
