I prosecuted cases of child abuse, neglect, and abandonment. I litigated a variety of complex and specialized matters, such as dependency adjudicatory trials, contested hearings on placement and services, and termination of parental rights proceedings. I work with other employees of the Department of Children and Families and our community partners to ensure that we have the strongest cases possible being brought before the circuit court.

I provided direct legal representation to children in a variety of contexts, including criminal, postconviction, delinquency, dependency, administrative, and appellate proceedings. I worked alongside other advocates to promote legislation to ensure fair sentencing for youth convicted as adults for criminal charges in the State of Florida.
