This model is now the source of COGS reporting for the company, and matches the tops-down reporting to within 1%. It reduced a process that took 2 weeks down to 2 days.Developed and implemented a model to project "BuyDown" expense for the company--which is essentially the cost of re-valuing component inventory at the end of the quarter. The projections from this model are on average over 85% accurate, and give management valuable insight into an expense they did not previously have any forecast for.Created a model to provide component level forecasts, which capture requirements from the entire BOM for all forecasted SKUs.
