Responsible for introducing Cisco SDA (Software Defined Access) by utilizing Cisco’s latest switch technology and their DNAC (DNA Center) offering, which is the first in the state of Arizona government sector. • Eliminated unnecessary vendor provided circuit configuration, thus saving over $480K over the lengths of the contracts.• Overseeing all aspects of a remote site refresh project for 19 sites under budget by 5% and 1 month ahead of schedule. Including creation of HLDs, LLDs, and as built documentation.• Developed multiple project task list for engineering to follow before, during and after implementation to ensure all tasks required for a successful completion, thus increasing success rate of 125%.• Designing a revamp to the current Internet Edge to include additional redundancy across three (3) major data centers.
