Prioritize and respond to maintenance work orders in an industrial plant setting. Responsible for walking the plant to identify problems with piping, electrical systems, HVAC systems, mechanical components, and general building maintenance. Perform preventive maintenance, equipment repair, fabrication, and shaft alignments. Equipment includes pumps, centrifuges, screws, conveyors, grain legs, bearings, valves, and tanks. Responsible for documenting issues, work completed, and parts used. Communicate with all departments to resolve issues in the plant.

I provided on site supervision of contractors and tradesmen for commercial construction projects. Developed working relationships with a wide range of people including subcontractors, tradesmen, owners, engineers, and architects. Resolved construction issues between trades. Maintained open communication from the field to collaborate with proper parties such as engineers for issue resolution. Completed material takeoffs, ordered, and scheduled material deliveries, facilitated jobsite meetings, maintained quality control, and responsible for site safety. Worked with local and state building inspectors to ensure construction was following applicable codes.

Assisted the site superintendent with field coordination of subcontractors, material deliveries, and material storage. Also assisted project managers with document control, tracking documents, tracking material samples, and performing material takeoffs. Kept records of working hours for personnel on site and reported to payroll. Recorded and distributed meeting minutes for job site meetings. Performed layout and verified dimensions in the field.
