I have ten years of experience performing environmental surveys (mist netting, acoustics, emergence surveys, habitat assessments, hibernaculum surveys, stream and wetland delineations). My focus is in rare, threatened, and endangered bat surveys. I hold a federal recovery permit which allows me to conduct presence/absence surveys for the Indiana, gray, northern long-eared, and Virginia big-eared bat throughout their range. I also try to keep up with recent literature and conduct relevant bat research (see publications). A career highlight has been helping establishing various bat conservation sites and monitoring our company built artificial roosts which helps perpetuate rare, threatened, and endangered bat species.
