Eric Schwesinger is the Founder and Owner of GM Trading established in 2009, an investment, trading and advisory firm. GM Trading began as a energy trading firm on the NYMEX, and has evolved into an active investor in private companies. We have several investments in agriculture, technology, and energy-related assets.From 2013 to 2019, Mr. Schwesinger was a partner at MBF Trading, LLC. Mr. Schwesinger oversaw commodity trading operations and portfolio management, as well as designing hedging plans for large commodity corporations in the energy space. Mr. Schwesinger was a partner and managed HPR Commodities LLC, a proprietary trading firm, from 2006 to 2009. As a member firm of the NYMEX, Mr. Schwesinger pioneered the commodity markets move from open outcry to electronic trading, as well as helping develop hedging and margining plans for newly developed cleared swaps from both a participant and regulatory perspective.Prior to the commodity markets, Mr. Schwesinger worked on successful roll-ups of private companies in both the health care and the hospitality industry.Mr. Schwesinger received an MBA from Columbia University with a specialization in Financial Engineering and holds a BA in both Economics and Political Science from Emory University.
