Education employees' working conditions are their students' learning conditions. I assist local educational associations in organizing, bargaining, and representation.

I edit the weekend Pagan Perspectives features at The Wild Hunt, a Pagan-oriented news magazine. I also write a monthly column of my own, which has been featured at TWH since 2012.

I write feature articles and blog posts.

I represent public sector employees working for a number of universities, municipalities, and county governments in Missouri. My responsibilities include organizing, contract negotiations, and grievance procedures.

I served as the co-chair and founding member of a graduate student employee labor union, the Coalition of Graduate Workers, affiliated with the Missouri National Education Association. In this position, I oversaw initial organizing efforts, a successful card campaign, a successful election campaign, and the internal organizing of the union local.

I taught creative writing, literature, and composition courses for the English department.

I served as a part-time, contracted organizer on a campaign to organize graduate student employees at the University of Missouri.

I write the Real Pagan Geek blog for PaganSquare, which addresses the intersection of pop culture and Paganism.

I transcribe and edit police reports into their final, legally binding forms in a fast-paced environment.

I write the Family Traditions column for the Patheos Pagan Portal, which covers second-generation Paganism.

I assisted law enforcement officials and 911 operators in emergency response and exigent situations through GPS tracking and other methods.

I taught sections of Freshman and Sophomore Composition, designing the curriculum and engaging in pedagogical training.
