Work independently outside the correspondent line of business reviewing and evaluating possible risk within the various correspondent departments. Responsible for the ongoing review of all correspondent seller’s financial condition and operational processes to ensure the seller’s continued viability, maintaining of their approved products and ensuring the seller’s ability to deliver compliant, performing loans. Manage seller recourse and recovery process from notification to collection which includes invoice types like EPO, EPD and Pair-offs. Oversee loan repurchase process once rebuttal process has failed from invoice notification through to collection. Manage a team of risk analysts whose job is to perform a complete background review and evaluation of prospect sellers prior to approval and a reevaluation of current sellers on an annual basis. Developed and perform multiple quality control reviews to ensure all group procedures/processes are being completed and followed accurately. Manage a performance analyst whose job is the review of approved seller’s risk by evaluating the seller’s financials, performance scorecards and operational attributes. Chairperson of the monthly Performance Management Committee meeting where low preforming/at risk sellers are reviewed. Responsible for the creation of the Risk Management Group to include all forms and process/procedure upon start of the Correspondent Lending line of business at the bank. Handle all loan purchase contract agreement negotiations with new sellers prior to approval. One of the main contacts working with internal and operational audit teams within the bank as well as OCC and agency audit teams outside of the bank. Worked with internal IT partners on the creation of the seller risk scorecard.

Work closely with Warehouse Lending National Sales Manager and sales team in handling any escalated client matters. Acting as central point of contact for client needs working closely with other department heads for resolution of issues. Maintained and prepared reporting documents to track sales team performance. Managed a team responsible for the collection of application and supporting documentation needed for warehouse line of credit approval. Reviewed and approved annual warehouse client’s renewal process. Reengineered many tasks throughout the renewal and approval process to be faster and more efficient. Developed quality control processes to ensure all group procedures/task are being completed and followed accurately and timely. Acted as lead negotiator, working with legal, on annual review and execution of warehouse agreement. Briefly managed the newly created Correspondent Lending Risk Management Group in addition to the Warehouse Client Management Group.
