Currently I'm starting an aviation themed brewery with the intent of inspiring future generations of pilots. Also I'm an aerospace engineer with a deep-rooted passion for aviation and the drive of an entrepreneur, I thrive in a fast-paced environment where I am allowed to use the full extent of my lateral thinking mind. While attending the University of Colorado I was the lead engineer of the HELIOS project in which I oversaw the technical development of a novel hybrid gas-electric UAV engine. As part of a graduate project I was the lead Configuration Engineer of Hyperion - a global project in which 32 students from the US, Germany, and Australia designed, built, tested, and flew a composite blended-wing-body UAV in under 9 months. With a few others, I founded a company centered around the hybrid UAV propulsion and the technology I developed while attending college. After graduating I was part of a small group of engineers that lead the Product Development design of Boeing's new 737 MAX. There I oversaw trade studies and made design recommendations to executives and most notably led a change that saved the program tens of millions of dollars.
