I started working in the electrical field as an apprentice working in industrial and commercial job sites. Finished the apprenticeship in three years working with the IBEW. When the Feyen and Zylasta electric started a sub company call Voice and Data systems installing CAT 5 & 5e cabling from MDF to IDF then out to the end user, terminating and testing to certify the path. Received my Bixbi Certifications shortly thereafter. I was promoted to project Manager on the Spartan headquarters in Grand Rapids, I organized and set work up daily for 25 employees. Daily updates with customers and other contractors on-site to coordinate with them to keep project running smoothly. I moved to Lansing Michigan and started to with Elite Communications rebuilding the CATV system, I started doing the drops from the poles to the house and rewiring the complete house with new RG6 coax. They promoted me to project leader in the aerial reck out and running new coax into neighborhoods and doing the cut over from old to new. They offered me a position in the underground crew, being able to read blueprints and drawings was a must, i ran multiple jobs all across the city and when the project was complete my former supervisor there started his own company called Earth com and offered me a position with him. This company was mainly a cellular system company. Working directly with all the major cellular providers. Here i needed many certifications to be able to work with the FCC, more than I will type out but they include OSHA 30, Many for fiber optics including, terminating, Splicing, and proper installation, Andrew for coax installation and terminating Also for manufacturing for the electronics for installation: Ino A,B,andC configurations, JMA Electronic, Smart Cell and others.My title was lead installer/Project Manager running multiple job including setting up the fiber for Nextel for the Superbowl in Detroit and the ALL-STAR GAME, most of the Ford and GM facilities in Michigan and Kentucy. Many multi-million dollar jobs. I got a chance to change jobs to Cellular solution as a supervisor working with Microsoft, work, and pro (for scheduling and tracking) jobs. Once it got the job the profit increased every year ending at 6 million. The owner lost the business in 2015 and opened an opportunity to start my own company Shear communications. Many of her customers contacted me to finish the projects that i already had set up. Ran my company until Covid hit and went back to work force.
