Hi, my name is Eric Shen. I am a Highschool student who aspires to work in either engineering or business or both. I am the cofounder of Beeyoo clothing company. I currently attend Irvington Highschool as a sophomore, and I previously attended Valley Christian Highschool. At Valley Christian Highschool, I improved my presentation, graphic design, accounting, and finance skills in their DECA chapter, where my time was the only freshmen team from VCHS to make it to the international competition. Alongside business, it was at VCHS where I took Ap CSA and advanced my cs abilities. I am relatively proficient in Java, but my passion does not lie in coding. I love computers. I have been working with some form of computer since I was 4 or 5. The idea that a little piece of silicon can consume so much power and transform that into billions and trillion of calculations per second, while running for years and years without burning out is a truly incredible achievement. I love tinkering and working with computers. While I have multiple skills in business, I have invested the most time into working and tinkering with building, modding, and fixing old and new computers. From software debug and stability testing to anything hardware related, these machines are truly something incredible to get to work on. This year, I hope to finally build my own 24/7 server to use for my home.I am also the outreach leader for my Team Alpha robotics , but I also work on the technical aspects of the robot where I have expertise. At Team Alpha, I do outreach with other organizations and do the writing and graphical design required for the First Technology Challenge robotics competition. I have a passion for both entrepreneurship and electrical engineering, which assists the team and I in our endeavors.
