So I found myself unemployed, due to the demise of Unipart Automotive, after 29 years service. The first time I haven't had a job since leaving school 33 years ago. Decided to take some time to reflect and spend some time with my wife and 3 girls before getting back on the bandwagon.Having taken a year out finishing various consruction projects around the house ( decking, paving ,driveway,loft insulation and semi conversion) I fulfilled my lifelong ambition to work out in the fresh air by joining Ringway infrastructure. I now cut hertfordshires grass , keep its bus stops clean and shortly will be gritting the roads having just obtained city and guilds winter service card.I WAS - a highly experienced Branch Manager in the automotive parts business. Effective in ownership of branch P&l to ensure targets are met via sales and margin growth and tight cost control. Excellent man manager who leads by example in building an effective customer focused team. Process driven organiser with excellent customer service skills. Able to communicate confidently and effectively at all levels. Confident in own abilities and able to pass knowledge, through training, to others.......BUT NOT ANYMORE !!!!
