I’m an experienced technology leader with extensive expertise in modernizing and scaling global engineering and QE/QA organizations. Over the course of my career, I've grown successful technology teams from the startup stage through IPO and beyond, delivering innovative solutions to millions of users across various industries. My work has focused on transforming manual QA groups into automation-first QE organizations and leading large-scale re-architecture efforts to modernize critical systems and reduce technical debt. Throughout these efforts, I’ve prioritized driving efficiencies in the SDLC to accelerate delivery speed and create measurable business impact. At Green Dot, I was responsible for systems processing billions of dollars in customer transactions annually, and at Cornerstone OnDemand, I supported 50 million global users on a mission-critical SaaS HCM platform.Most recently, I co-founded Novella, where I built a platform to help families preserve their loved ones' stories, memories, and life lessons for future generations. This mission was inspired by my personal experience of losing my mom in 2013, and the realization that my kids would never know their grandmother.I’m originally from the Big Island of Hawaii and attended the University of Hawaii at Manoa. I have an MS in Computer Science and an MBA.

Expanded Core HR engineering in new locations, both in the US and internationally. Drove the re-architecture and migration from older, monolithic Cornerstone systems to a modern architecture on AWS, and ultimately sped up the pace of delivery while reducing tech debt. Integrated teams from the Saba acquisition into the Core HR engineering org. Worked closely with and ultimately retained enterprise clients who had deep concerns about whether continuing with Cornerstone was worth it for them. -
Vice President, Software Quality AssuranceCornerstone Ondemand Jun 2013 - Jul 2018Santa Monica, CaI was brought in to scale and modernize the SQA and release management functions. I tripled the size of the team to over 120 employees, from one location to several in multiple countries. Moved the group from a highly manual testing-focused, traditional QA team to a highly automated testing-focused modern QE group. Decreased deployment downtime and transformed deployments from large, risky quarterly events to routine, biweekly releases, with some on-demand releases. Key leader in moving the tech organization to an agile mindset and methodology (scrum). Worked with many multinational, enterprise clients to satisfy their compliance and quality concerns with using Cornerstone, which in conjunction with other efforts opened up new lines of business worth tens of millions in ARR.
