Provide a detailed plan to repair Refinery equipment to ensure that equipment is maintained and/or improved in the most cost effective, safe, and environmentally sound manner to optimize refinery performance. Coordinate various project efforts to deliver the project according to plan, integrate safety and risk analysis, provide support for change management through Project Management of Change and KMS Management of Change processes, manage schedules and timelines, steward regulatory and environmental compliance, and establish budgets while controlling costs.This involves integrating with, both internal and external engineering, business unit stakeholders, finance, supply chain, construction management, regulatory representatives, document control, and many others depending on the complexity and scope of the projects.

Review projects for new electrical assets and determine spares requirements. Work with Master Data Developers to create Material Masters in SAP and populate BOMs.Develop maintenance procedures, checklists and maintenance strategies for new electrical assets and review these with the related business unit to ensure maintenance needs are met. Work to create Periodical Maintenance plans and task lists to support reliability of new assets for projected life cycle.Populate reporting to support new asset integration on a project by project basis.

Work with Project Managers, Leads; and Engineers to insure CWP’s/EWP’s/SOW’s, tag listings and supporting documentation are submitted to the New Asset Integration team. Review data submissions for compliance to NAI input requirements. Manage the tracking of Asset Integration progress to SAP on all Oilsands and Insitu projects. Validate Commissioning and Startup Schedules.Work with key stakeholders to ensure NAI is working in coordination with their efforts, Work with Project teams to coordinate required inputs and provide report on progress of Asset Management. Facilitate training sessions to inform engineers on prerequisites and templates for Asset Management. Assign work to NAI teams, both internal and external, based on the prioritization of projects. Lead a team of Master Data Developers and Integrators. Conduct regular one on one meetings with team members to review project asset integration completion, identify road blocks, discuss work environment, reinforce safety, and ensure compliance with training requirements. Provide leadership, mentoring, support and development to a team of Planners and Schedulers to produce quality and accurate work plans and schedules following best practices, safety guidelines and procedures. Coordinate with operations, maintenance and execution and all supporting functions in Cross Functional Team (CFT) in establishing and issuing of the weekly and daily schedules. Focal point of contact for SAP system issues related to Planning & Scheduling in support of the CFT. Track KPI’s and measures to gauge performance of planning and maintenance, identifying gaps to drive improvements. Implement and drive improved planning and scheduling business processes in the upgrader. Review Periodical Maintenance and Planned Maintenance task lists for accuracy.

Plan all maintenance work (excluding turnaround) for all crafts in their area; work closely with Operations, Reliability, and Supply Chain Management to complete work before the due date. Ensure scheduling before start dates includes; approving notifications, developing complete work plans that include manpower, craft requirements, material lists, requisition materials, and identification of any special tools or equipment needs.

Plan and schedule electrical and instrumentation work for 3 unionized directory and newsprint paper mills through the mill's computerized maintenance management system (SAP). Provide troubleshooting assistance to mill crews. Provide relief supervision duties. Generate work orders and purchase requisitions as required to provide crews with materials and labour tracking as required by the department. Organize periodical maintenance procedures. Plan major maintenance and minor maintenance shutdown work in detail. Create annual budget requirements reviewed monthly. Coordinate manpower requirements with other departments. Contribute to the development and implementation of Asset Care Initiatives. Provided key troubleshooting and maintenance support to coordinated DC drive systems.
