Oversee the development and administration of the global internship and Asia education abroad programs for IE3 Global. Collaborate with all partner institutions to ensure quality study abroad, faculty-led, internships, research opportunities, and exchange programs to best serve the needs of faculty, students and international partners. Strive to create program-wide processes that provide comprehensive support to students in the selection of appropriate education abroad programs that meet their academic, professional, and personal goals.

Responsible for program planning, developing internship partnerships, partnership relationship management and quality control, intern applicant review and placement, pre-departure orientation, while-abroad support processes, emergency protocol and risk management, campus outreach, marketing, program evaluation, online application process and data systems, website management, and general IE3 Global Internships communication and operations processes.

Singburi, Thailand

Managed service-learning programs in sectors of health, environment, education and culture sectors. Expanded partner base and collaborated with top university to run two HIV/AIDS awareness camps for Thai youth and kept the project under budget. Networked with various organizations to expand program scope. Trained volunteers on Thai culture and language, TEFL, HIV/AIDS prevention methodology.

Led group of American students on a semester study abroad program to Thailand and Laos. Utilizing an experiential teaching model, facilitated student learning by providing cultural immersion and service learning opportunities across Thailand. Evaluated program upon completion and provided extensive future program development scenarios for the organization.

Ecuador, Kenya And Washington, Dc

Coordinated with all Good Governance Barometer pilot studies worldwide on lessons learned and case study development, in order to enhance local capacity for good governance through institutional strengthening. Presented at multi-organizational technical meeting in Kenya on Barometer refinement.

Ecuador And Sri Lanka

Responsible for strengthening lines of communication between headquarters and field offices in Ecuador and Bolivia, with particular attention to reporting schedules and methods. Produced monthly report to Director of Programs that detailed monthly plans, results, current activities, project pipeline and budget update. Monitored consultant and intern needs. During this time also consulted for World Vision's Sri Lanka Tsunami Response team, and identified a proper phase out and exit strategy. Developed tools and provided training tailored to assist district staff in both closing down and handing over projects to other stakeholders.

Prepared and edited USAID quarterly reports and assisted with proposal writing. Improved record keeping and knowledge management system; coordinated financial record keeping with Pact’s financial management unit. Supported Community REACH, Pact’s HIV/AIDS community –based programs.
