Implemented a Safety-management system/Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) program for the HML Charleston, SC facility, to minimize all safety risks and reduce potential liabilities. Maintain Federal, State and Local standards and regulations; recommends required new programs/elements to management for the EHS programs. Committee Developed emergency plans, coordinated training programs, and maintained a high safety training rate. Forecast, budget plans five years out with a strong financial acumen, develop and maintain department budget; for all Safety, Contract services and Environmental concerns, Collaborated with tenant partner safety officers to enhance safety measures and protect staff and the environment. Strong analytical skills, problem solving, organizational and planning skills, decision making, especially in emergency/crisis situations, and excellent result orientated Chair the NCCOS Safety Committee for seven different partners within the cohort, NIST, COFC, MUSC, SDNR, NOAA FISHERIES, Marine Mammal Foundation, and NCCOS. Co-Wrote the policies and procedures manual for Safety for all of NCCOS. Emergency Management Manager for all 5 locations throughout the United States and Alaska.
