Performed requirements analysis and integration for Interoperable C4I Services (ICS) and translate requirements into detailed specs for implementation by systems engineers. Perform as verification engineer in support of schedule impact of proposed changes to baseline requirements. Developed high level test plans/procedures for executable testing. Jan 97 - Jun 99 Instructed Joint Maritime Command Information System (JMCIS) operator, Global Command and Control (GCCS-M) operator, C4I, Watch Officer and ETAC. Trained over 600 personnel in regard to C4I and JOTS operations. Was nominated for Instructor of the Year and received a Navy Achievement Medal in the field of GCCS-M training. Assisted and Maintained base GENSER LAN for Windows NT environment. Assigned as Safety Officer, which included maintenance of all TAC-3 and TAC-4 computers.Dec 91- Dec 96 Assigned as Admiral Staff Operations Specialist. Duties included Data Base Management (DBM), troubleshooting, supervision, and training of the Joint Maritime Command Information System (JMCIS) for the USS Carl Vinson Battle Group. Received numerous awards for duties thereof. Was assigned the command CMS custodian responsible for sensitive material.
