This position is responsible for performing, supervising and coordinating balance of plant [BOP] and Piping design activities and expediting the timely flow of information between outside designs firms, in-house engineering departments and construction contractors in order to fulfill the schedule requirements for Cement, Minerals, Power and Pneumatic piping projects.I am currently responsible for balance of plant and piping engineering & design services for a variety of brown field, grass root and expansion projects for the paper & pulp, cement, alumina, minerals, power and industrial facilities from the proposal preparation stage to construction. My background includes piping engineering & design services comprised of conceptual design, project specifications, basic engineering, extend basic engineering and detailed design and engineering for reimbursable and lump sum projects. In addition, I have regular contact with client and/or owner representatives, consultants, specialist, vendors and construction contractors for coordination, classification and guidance regarding piping design, engineering and construction activities. This position is required to provide timely responses, specialized advice and cost effective solutions on matters relating to BOP | Piping design, construction specifications, material specifications, proposal preparation, contractor bid evaluations and engineering design schedules.I have experience in managing both internal and external design teams. I have also extensive experience managing outside engineering resources in India.
