System Engineer
Current• Collaborated with the Product Quality Testing team to conduct comprehensive manual testing of software, deployed on SDR receivers, transmitters, and transceivers. This involved validating functionalities such as identification, logging, interception, interrogation, jamming, and collection of audio and signal information across various waveforms and formats via web and PC-based interfaces.• Developed Python scripts to perform extensive statistical analysis of large datasets for geolocation direction-finding system performance using Time Difference of Arrival (TDOA) for each node, comprising an SDR and DF antenna, and supported the statistical analysis of GPS data to ensure accuracy.• Led system-level development and integration of a compact platform combining an SDR, server, down converter, and DF antenna into a single product. This platform was designed to detect Frequency Hopped Spread Spectrum signals, identify hop clusters, and employ a wide array of digital signal processing tools, including state monitoring, and scanning of operator-specific frequencies.• Supported Compute Environment team through the development of network engineering solutions using Ansible for Linux-based operating systems. Additionally, engaged in hands-on development and troubleshooting to facilitate the integration of new hardware into existing systems.• Authored an Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Workmanship Manual for all Engineering Labs to ensure adherence to safe ESD practices. Developed an accompanying audit system to align with Boeing audit requirements, thereby enhancing compliance and safety standards.
