I founded Plant Base to share my journey of healing and to help others heal organically with Plant Based Organic Solutions that Heal the mind, body, and soul In 1994, I was diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis. Pain became an everyday part of my life. This debilitating condition affected all my joints, and despite treatment and prescription medications, by 1999, the disease had destroyed all the cartilage in my hip joints. This led to the necessity of prosthetic hips at the age of 17. I had become accustomed to constant joint pain, dealing with inflammation and regular flare-ups in my hands, knees, elbows, wrists, ankles, and other joints the doctors said they didn’t know the cause. At age 22, the pressures of becoming a father and providing for my new family added significant mental stress, which I realized would trigger flare-ups in my physical condition. This was an early indication for me that mental and physical health are directly correlated. At age 26, I had another pivotal moment when I lost my job. Without employment, I lost my health insurance. I visited my rheumatologist and explained my situation. He handed me a flyer with a coupon, indicating that I would need to be on Enbrel or another immunosuppressant for the rest of my life, when the word immunosuppressant came out of his mouth I suddenly questioned it. This drug is suppressing my immune system? Yes he explained because your body is attacking itself, as modern medicine classifies many diseases as autoimmune diseases. Epiphany!!!! I realize it must be my INTAKE! I am putting something in my body that is causing it to attack itself as well as the mental stress. I now consider a homeopathic approach to my healing, which is also far more affordable to me at this time. The results were astonishing. By eating organic foods and incorporating a few herbs and natural remedies, I lost weight and reduced inflammation. I realized that my diet consuming genetically modified wheat, high fructose corn syrup, artificial sweeteners, and harmful cooking oils were the main contributors to my pain and inflammation ….also controlling my mental health and keeping stress and anxiety to a minimum was key to no more flare ups and inflammation as well. Now I am 42 years old and in the best shape of my life. God has given us the ability to heal ourselves from any ailment through Pant Base Organic Solutions!!!
