After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Angelo State University in May of 2000, I spent eleven years working in the education field as a high school math teacher and athletics coach. Looking to make a switch out of education, I broke out into the oil patch by working as a Lease Operator for Pioneer Natural Resources. Learning the business gave me a yearning to take it a step further and obtain a Petroleum Engineering Degree. I graduated with that degree in December of 2014 from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin. While back at school, I worked for V-F Petroleum Inc. as an Engineering Technician. This gave me hands on experience with all aspects of the office side of the oil field. After graduation I worked full time as a Petroleum Engineer at V-F Petroleum Inc. for four years. Then I stepped back to Pioneer to try and progress my career starting back as a Lease Operator.I excel at data collection and disaggregation using various computer programs. I can analyze and manipulate data to eliminate anomalies that can alter solutions to problems. I am a fast learner that picks up new software application quickly. I can present and teach concepts using clear and understandable language.
