I am an experienced organic chemist with an educational background of method development in the area of transition metal catalysis, mechanistic investigation, organic, organometallic, and inorganic synthesis, photochemistry and electron-mediated reactions, as well as high-throughput screening techniques. Additionally, I have experience in solid phase peptide synthesis and purification as well as a large array of analytical techniques.In my role at Gilead, I lead a process chemistry team with ownership of route scouting and selection, scale-up, delivery of GMP API, development of impurity control strategies, and process characterization to support the advancement of new drugs from pre-clinical studies through all phases of development through NDA.
