Served as top SME resource enterprise-wide for both IHS Markit (IHSM), and S&P Global (SPGI) post-merger for all public SSL/TLS certificates and domain name registrations. Built, trained, and led the IHSM domain portfolio and certificate management team which itself was directly responsible for tracking and expiry notifications of thousands of DigiCert signed SSL/TLS Certificates for hundreds of IHS Markit products, systems, and applications. Routinely coordinated with business owners and implementation teams to ensure timely renewal and end to end implementation of SSL certificates in a wide variety of on-prem and cloud environments. Provided top tier technical and process guidance to teams requiring assistance with cert request tickets in ServiceNow, CSR generation, PFX creation and/or private key extraction, migration from DigiCert certs used on-prem to Amazon issued ACM certs in the cloud, F5 and AVI load balancer configurations, certificate store imports and middleware configurations, etc. or help with general understanding of corporate and InfoSec policies and procedures regarding certificates and domains. Work with InfoSec and management to define and/or update the same. Owned and supported highly available Venafi and AppViewX (AVX) certificate management lifecycle platforms and worked closely with teams leveraging REST API and automation workflow capabilities. Managed vendor relations and facilitated contract negotiations for DigiCert, Venafi, and AVX. Managed 2000+ IHSM owned domain name registrations at CSC and AWS. Acted as top tier SME for the onboarding/offboarding of certificates, replication of DNS zones, and transfers in/out of domain registrations gained or lost via mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. Reacted to and planned for CA and industry changes such as reduction in validity period from two years to one, increased code signing cert requirements, changes in root and intermediate certificates, phasing out of products, etc.

Tracked, acquired, renewed, installed, and configured all SSL certificates on load balancers, middleware, and servers (Windows and Linux) for applications in my business line’s portfolio. Requested DNS and firewall changes as needed for net new and/or problem resolution. Created and updated Ports and Protocols (PnP) application design documents. Collaborated with development teams to instrument new and existing applications in AppDynamics performance monitoring service.
