Fort Riley And Iraq

Commander of a Forward Support Company directly supporting an Infantry Battalion, in garrison and northern Iraq. Advised the battalion commander on all aspects of sustainment operations. Responsible and accountable for the training, health, and welfare of 130 Soldiers providing the highest quality supply, field services, transportation, and maintenance support to over 900 Soldiers and civilian contractors. Successfully managed the retrograde and responsible draw-down of four facilities in Iraq, accounting for over $30M in supplies and equipment.

Fort Bragg And Afghanistan

Planned, prioritized, and coordinated all tactical transportation and commodity distribution requirements for the 82nd Airborne Division’s 4th Brigade Combat Team comprised of 3,500+ Paratroopers. Utilized multiple intermodal transportation assets to maximize throughput and retrograde to multiple locations across 17,000 square miles of eastern Afghanistan. Managed a $4M civilian helicopter contract and multinational crews. Responsible for developing daily flight mission plans and cargo manifests, as well as ensuring adherence to the statement of work by tracking and reporting contract performance metrics.

Fort Bragg And Afghanistan

Responsible for the internal logistics of a 450+ Paratrooper Brigade Support Battalion. Managed a $600K annual budget and five Government Purchase Card accounts. Provided guidance and mentorship to unit commanders on budget expenditures, property accountability, and the filling of material requirements. Maintained in-transit visibility of 200+ containers and rolling stock during the deployment from Fort Bragg, NC to Afghanistan. Developed, staffed, and executed $3M in purchase requests and commitments for critical equipment shortfalls.

Fort Bragg

Responsible for 42 Paratroopers that operate and sustain the brigade’s supply warehouse and distribution center or Supply Support Activity (SSA). Provided world-class commodity logistics that included subsistence, general supplies, repair parts, and ammunition. Maintained 100% accountability of $3M worth of organizational equipment. Through teamwork and unity of effort we were recognized as the best large SSA in the Army for 2006. Winning the Chief of Staff Army, Supply Excellence Award.

Germany, Fort Bliss, Kuwait

Supervises, sets up, operates, or performs maintenance on the Patriot air defense missile system. Operates heavy equipment to move missile system to site. Troubleshoots problems manually and with external test equipment. Performs repairs on the Patriot system, installs equipment modifications, and replaces faulty circuit cards. Provides technical guidance and leadership to subordinates; performs checks, adjustments, and repairs on major item interface with engagement control station and radar set.
