After taking the Station Manager position at San Francisco in 2001, the team creatively lifted the SFO Station from #14 to #1, as measured in “On-Time” departures, within 2 years and held one of the top three placements on and off through 2023. Working at Virgin Atlantic has afforded me the opportunity to handle the Ryder Cup charter in Detroit, the re-opening of the Chicago station 2007, an assignment of relief coverage over the Los Angeles station 2008, the opening of Vancouver station in 2012, a yearlong assignment in Tel Aviv 2020, the opening of Austin station 2022, and the handling of numerous NFL charters for the London games. This has provided me the opportunity to work with the Raiders, 49ers, KC Chiefs, Cardinals, Vikings, and Broncos. While at Virgin Atlantic, spire headed an art program in the Virgin Clubhouse that included Patty Boyd, Mick Rock, Roger Dean, and Terry O’Neil to name a few. We also launched an innovative, one-of-a-kind Brain Exercise for guests that showed how different solutions could be derived from switching between the right and left side of the brain. I attribute the success for these projects to my “can-do” attitude which I received from my upbringing in Alaska and the open working environment at Virgin Atlantic Airways.In addition to my duties as Station Manager for Virgin Atlantic Airways in San Francisco, I have been the past chair of the San Francisco International Terminal Operators Committee (ITOC), was the past chair of the San Francisco Terminal Equipment Company (SFOTec), serve on the Board of the San Francisco Aeronautical Society, and am a past president for the SFO Rotary Club. The San Francisco Aeronautical Society was founded in 1997 as a nonprofit organization to serve as the affiliated support group of the San Francisco Airport Commission Aviation Library and Louis A. Turpen Aviation Museum. This unique facility is located at San Francisco International Airport. It is a collecting institution for research and exhibition programming, its purpose is to enrich our understanding of past, present, and future achievements in air transport.

Held a number of positions working to Station Manager of SJC Airport. Responcible for 22 flights per day , 47 emloyees, and service support vendors.

Responsible for instructing a computer reservations class. The class was part of the University's travel hospitality program. Duties included preparation of class materials, attendance, and 1.5 hours of lecture time per week.

Responsible for programming and maintaining Wang and HP computer systems for the Forest Service in Ketchikan. Programmed in BASIC, FORTRAN, and COBALT computer programming languages.
