Operations Manager of three underground zinc mines in Tennessee. The total output of these mines equals 2.0 MTPY of ore with a total of over 400 salaried and hourly employees. I am responsible for safety principles and guidelines as well as MSHA compliance. I work closely with state environmental agencies on permitting and reclamation. I am responsible for annual budgets, increased plant efficiencies, managed capital improvements, and corporate management relationships. As an operations manager of multiple mine sites I consistently developed workable production targets, produced and managed annual financial budgets, managed multi-million dollar capital projects, increased efficiencies, managing multiple salaried personnel, as well as handle safety and environmental concerns.
