I take current packaging and improve it. I eliminate extra space, oversize, and additional handling charges by redesigning current packaging. This helps reduce damages to the carton and the product inside, it also reduces inbound and outbound freight charges.

As the Warehouse Team Lead I worked closely with the Distribution/Receiving Managers and Distribution Team Leaders to ensure that the warehouse team consistently meets defined goals. I ensured that the team’s efforts are aligned on a daily basis to successfully meet and exceed our customer service commitments.

This position involved taking multiple items and placing them into a kit. Picking the work order, placing the products strategically into boxes to be sent to the customer, creating work and having them put on the shelf. In this position I was also in charge of repackaging damaged cartons from the vendor, returns, or warehouse damage. In addition to the above duties I was responsible to meet all of the metrics defined below as a Warehouse Team Member.

This position is also responsible for accurately and safely performing picking, receiving, replenishment, incoming put aways, cycle counting, and loading and unloading trailers.
