Oversee the FCA ministries in Jackson, Hillsdale, Lenawee, & Monroe counties, making Jesus more fully known by meeting the students wherever they are at. To see the world transformed by Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes.

Director of Youth Ministries – DCE (Director of Christian Education) – I was called to St. Peter’s to develop a new youth ministry; I developed & cast a new vision for youth ministry which included focusing on worship, discipleship, service, and fellowship. Recruited, equipped, and trained youth leaders. Was one of seven Directors in partnership to create the overall direction of the church. Rewrote confirmation program to a lifelong discipleship process including lessons plans, family faith discussions, small groups, and relational ministry. Built a youth ministry program that included youth nights, discipleship Bible studies, retreats, events, mission events, and community service projects.

DCE (Director of Christian Education) – I oversaw two areas of ministry; everything involving youth ministry and all aspects of Christian education. I maintained and continued to grow the WNA (Wednesday Night Alive) Confirmation program; started, built, and grew a youth program for High School age students, which has included retreats, gatherings, mission trips, Bible studies, family events, fundraisers, and community projects. Started a college ministry, small groups, taught many different types of classes & Bible studies, introduced a new model for & ran Sunday school, Kid’s Church, and VBS programs. I also assisted in worship as needed with organizing, preaching, and leading.

Youth Director - Responsibilities included running a program for Jr. High youth, Confirmands, High School youth and young adults while supporting the family structure. Developed a vision model and mission statement by which we based all of our activities, events, fund-raisers, Bible studies, and worship services. Developed and trained a volunteer staff with support from many parents. Also became involved with community activities, supported area churches, and the local Lutheran High School. Led interactive Bible studies, youth worship services, life impacting retreats, and servant projects.
