Selux is developing novel diagnostic systems that rapidly determine personalized therapies for patients with sepsis and other infections. Selux's platforms hold the power to transform Infectious Diseases patient care and combat the current antibiotic resistance epidemic.Selux has raised over $35MM in private and $47MM in public financing to date to develop our diagnostic platforms. Our antimicrobial susceptibility test (AST) system will be the only platform capable of delivering next-day personalized therapy results for all patients, cutting over 2 days off the current agonizing wait for these results. Selux's BARDA-funded blood culture platform will cut blood culture speeds four-fold, enabling same-day, fully automated blood sample-to-comprehensive identification/AST. Selux designs diagnostic systems to solve the key problems faced by its customers in treating Infectious Diseases patients. We build cost-effective platforms on the most (realistically) aggressive timelines possible by always seeking to find the simplest solutions. Developed proprietary synthesis to produce particles that survived >3 months in oil wells.
