Eric is a Managing Director in Engineering within Goldman Sachs Asset Management, where he oversees Engineering strategy. In his role, he works with divisional leadership to implement engineering initiatives for the division, help drive strategic priorities and provide accountability for core controls. Previously, Eric co-led Scribe, a GS Accelerate platform that aims to transform private markets investing through digitization, analytics and streamlined interactions between key stakeholders. Eric joined Goldman Sachs as a managing director in 2020.Prior to joining the firm, Eric spent more than 16 years at BlackRock building the corporation's Aladdin platform and delivering data, analytics and insights to investors and clients. Most recently, he led platform technology for BlackRock’s Alternative Investments business with a focus on eFront, a software that manages alternative investments. Prior to that, Eric was a member of the Portfolio Analytics Group in London, where he led Analytics for EMEA, developed analytics for urgent market events and implemented Aladdin for European clients.Eric serves on the Tufts Alumni Council and as an advisor to several fintech startup companies.Eric earned a BA in Economics with a minor in Computer Science from Tufts University in 2003 and a graduate certificate from New York University's Schack Institute of Real Estate in 2011.
