I also handle a variety of matters in the real estate area, including construction loans, long-term financing, leasing and the acquisition and sale of real estate related assets. In addition, I have experience in bankruptcy and workout matters, representing parties in workouts of commercial loans and the purchase and sale of distressed assets. I joined Kayne Law Group in August 2012 after 11 rewarding years with Ice Miller LLP (formerly known as Schottenstein Zox & Dunn Co. LPA).

In that role, I advised lenders and borrowers in matters involving commercial lending, asset-based financing and mezzanine debt. I also handled a variety of matters in the real estate area, including construction loans, long-term financing, and the acquisition and sale of real estate related assets. In addition, I advised clients in bankruptcy and workout matters, representing lenders in workouts of commercial loans, purchasers of properties out of bankruptcy (through "363 sales" and otherwise) and financial institutions serving as indenture trustees and collateral trustees in connection with distressed and defaulted transactions involving bonds, notes and structured finance products.
