Test Lab Technician
• Integral to ISO 17025 certification for SSP Lab.• Performed calibration validation of air pressure gauges and torque wrenches, in the entire plant. Logged all details into the system upon completion. When out of calibration items were found, replaced or sent them to outside source for repair and certification.• Performed validation testing on fittings and valves: gas leak, burst test, impulse tester, and high temp and cold temp gas leak (360 degrees to -100 degrees). • Tested high pressure valves and fittings to failure and recorded test results.• Tested ferrule hardness and performed heat treat process.• Tested competitor fittings and valves for competitive analyses, as well as per ASTM 1387.• Wrote test reports and provided to engineering for assessment.• Performed analyses of a customer issue with a tube turn, and provided a solution, which. resulted in award of a $750k contract from customer.• Performed extensive testing on products for an energy company customer. As a result the company was recognized as their #1 supplier.
