About Eric Stuckey

I'm an ambitious Mechanical and Electrical Engineer working at Ford Motor Company. I have my Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, and dual Bachelor's Degrees in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, all from Kettering University. I'm currently the Lead Electrical Systems' Engineer for the next generation Ford Lightning BEV pickup, and I just finished launching the 2023 Ford Super Duty on Electrical Systems. I'm the Crew Chief for Stinger Motorsport and led the team to success both in Ultra4 offroad 4400 class and NASA Time Trials. I own my company Rigworks where I design and manufacture aftermarket truck and UTV parts. I've also recently added 3D scanning and reverse engineering to my services offered. While at school, I was the Team Leader for Kettering's Baja SAE program for 5 years and brought the team up to a premier level with a large group of diverse students.

    I worked at Carcoustics while Dual-Enrolling at Kettering University through high-school. I worked with fibrous non-woven PET and helped create the first SRT Viper Subwoofer sound-deadening cups to reduce the effect of road-noise on speaker operation. Also created a Battery insulator for FCA to block out the elements and reduce heat on the battery, and I also have a Patent on the product. I also created many different door and vehicle cabin insulators out of foam, thermoset plastics, and PET using vacuum and thermo-forming. Also created prototype molds for many vehicle parts out of fiberglass, two-part epoxy, and wood.
