Researched, designed and implemented 2B customerrecommendation algorithms (Deep Crossing, Embedding LookUp, User-based, etc.) to match similar mobile games based on categories using Apache Spark. Enhanced matching accuracy by 22.6X%. Designed and Developed backend API using Spring Security, Boot, Utilized Yelp API, BASH, SQL Trigger to cache mobile game information. Utilized MySQL (MAMP)/Redis to store mobile game information and user’s profile and history. Incorporated Redis as middleware for data I/O, adjusted the system architecture in line with SQL HiveSQL and Presto backend Hadoop service system, integrated underlying I/O call methods, and aggregated compatible small files and I/O to accelerate SQL. Applied SHA-256 hashing to protect user’s privacy and security. Deployed in EC2 and EKS(Kubernetes) to write commonly used mobile game recommendation batch processing tasks, enabling pre-calculation of these embedding through scheduled tasks and thus directly transforming the SQL table during common time periods. This improved latency by 1.3X and reduced server CPU usage by 2.25X, as measured by Perf and Kubectrl. Integrated a CLI‐based open-source data pipeline collector, used by 20+ services to process streaming data. Scaled the service to ingest concurrent data streams at gigabit speeds from 4k+ devices, optimized throughput by aging the gRPC/gNMI subscriptions via a tunnel server for load balancing, and leveraged Goroutines. Participated in the R&D project collaborated with a team, using Git, Maven for version control and Agile methodologies for project management.

Enhanced File System Operations: Developed a kernel extension for Ntapfuse that logs and records various file system operations, enabling the tracking of user data usage and enforcing specific data quotas. This involved monitoring cluster health using Kubectrl, Kubernetes, and Docker. Additionally, operated SSH servers and containers through Linux bash scripts, pipes, and Epoll commands for efficient management.Project Implementation: Authored and maintained efficient C++ code for project implementation, leveraging Git for version control.Quality Assurance: Conducted QA testing using Shell Scripting, identifying and resolving over 30+ issues related to dataset loading I/O problems in HDFS. Utilized Perf, Netperf, mdtest, top, ioprof, and Glances for OS metric collection and further analysis, ensuring robustness and reliability in system operations. Moreover, addressed backend HDFS I/O issues and centralized metadata management problems, utilizing POSIX operations such as Truncate, Wrap, NFS Mount, and, Loop Device to write a file system middleware that mitigates frequent metadata.
