At Takeda, I am primarily responsible for various internal and partnered projects in the Oncology Business Unit. I advise on different IP matters, including patent preparation and prosecution, worldwide portfolio management, global IP strategy, patentability and freedom-to-operate analyses. I also provide support to Takeda's Oncology Business Development Team - including due diligence assistance and assistance with contract drafting and negotiation.

I focus on all aspects of Intellectual Property with regards to branded biologics and biosimilars. Areas of particular focus include patent prosecution (both foreign and domestic), freedom-to-operate evaluations, non-infringement and validity opinions, I.P. due diligence and counseling, and litigation support.

Responsible for managing Teva's major oncology and biologics alliances with external partners -- including facilitating internal alignment among Teva stakeholders, ensuring consistent and collaborative interactions with such partners, advising senior management on the status of such partnerships, fulfilling contractual obligations with such partners, and facilitating collaboration with such partners to address any problems that may arise.

I focus on all aspects of Intellectual Property with regards to branded drug development. Areas of particular focus include patent prosecution (both foreign and domestic), freedom-to-operate evaluations, non-infringment and validity opinions, I.P. due diligence and counseling, and litigation support. Technology areas include oncology, pain therapeutics, and general internal medicine.

I represented clients ranging in size from small start-ups to Fortune 100 corporations in all aspects of intellectual property law, with a particular emphasis on worldwide acquisition and enforcement of patents in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and chemical arts. Practice areas focused, primarily, in the preparation and prosecution of patent applications, as well as worldwide patent portfolio management. I also counseled clients on patentability, infringement, patent validity and freedom-to-operate considerations and conducted intellectual property due diligence reviews related to the acquisition or licensing of proprietary technologies.

I assisted sole inventors and small- and mid-sized companies who were interested in pursuing patent rights to a proprietary technology or in exploring potential infringement risks to launching a new product.
