Lead mechanical engineer in the Development group which is responsible for all new custom designs. Customers include top defense and space contractors. Works seamlessly with a multi-discipline engineering team to meet a variety of customers demands. Has developed solutions for both military based subsystems and aerospace applications while accounting for the vast variety of environmental conditions these demanding applications require. Runs finite element analysis for structural integrity using Solidworks simulation, but also for electromagnetic structures using ANSYS HFSS package. Working hand in hand with principal RF design engineers to develop custom RF Microwave solutions. Has direct communication with the end customer by leading design reviews at multiple stages in a development cycle. Works with outside vendors to introduce and implement new products and materials to further advance TRMs capabilities of dealing with such demanding environments.

Works with marketing and other engineering disciplines in an effort to bring the highest caliber product line to the market. Remains focused on quality design principles and cost reduction while bringing economical designs into production. Performs CFD analysis on new and existing products to better understand and improve thermal and fluid dynamic designs. Collaborates with manufacturing to bridge gaps between engineering and operations ensuring smooth transitions and completed products on time.

A mechanical design engineer of the System Business Unit (SBU). Main responsibility included designing custom precision light measurement systems. Each design provided integrated solutions for customer's specific requirements, including thermal and flow analysis. Completed on time or early release of design to manufacturing while providing well documented build instructions for a wide range of complex projects. Worked with customer to ensure satisfaction from concept to final design.
