At ICF Next, my leadership in software engineering has been pivotal in driving the modernization of a legacy application. With expertise in Spring Boot and Java, our team has delivered a successful launch of a a modernized system. I have mentored and built a high performing agile team. In this role I have also added a more formal development manager skill set. I enjoy still being technical, and coding every day, however, expanding my knowledge by having to actively manage other engineers has proven to be an unexpected bonus.Prior to this, as Lead Software Engineer at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, I honed my skills in both Java and .NET environments, leveraging Oracle and SQL Server databases to create restful web services and mobile applications. The combination of technical acumen and agile leadership has enabled me to contribute significantly to the projects I've led, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation within the teams I manage.
